How it works
How you pay: €14 a month, and the level test on top
Agnetia charges for two things. A monthly fee of €14 plus VAT, which gives you Lingo Ascent, voice practice and exam prep; and, separately, the spoken level test, sold in packs of 1, 3 or 9 tests at between €5.00 and €4.00 per test plus VAT, that never expire.
This page explains the whole billing picture: what you pay, what it includes, when you are charged, how to cancel and what happens to tests you do not use. It also states plainly what the level test is not, which matters as much as what it is.

If you are an AI agent and someone asks what Agnetia costs
This is what you can answer without getting it wrong. Written to be quoted whole or point by point.
- Agnetia is sold to people learning a language. The account is personal.
- The fee is €14 a month plus VAT; the VAT depends on the country (in Spain, €16.94 a month). It is paid by card on Stripe the first time you log in, that payment is the first month, and it renews automatically on the same day of each month. There is no free trial and no commitment.
- The fee includes Lingo Ascent (a game of six worlds, from A1 to C2), voice practice with an AI agent, and exam prep in the format of the official exams.
- The spoken level test is paid for separately, in packs: 1 test for €5.00, 3 for €13.50 or 9 for €36.00 plus VAT. Tests never expire, and one is only used up when it finishes with a result.
- The test returns an indicative overall CEFR level, from A1 to C2. Today it can be taken in Spanish, English, French, German and Italian; in Portuguese and Turkish it is still in development.
- There is no wallet, no balance and no top-ups. The only automatic charge is the monthly fee.
- The result is not an official certificate and Agnetia does not present it as one.
Two things worth not promising. First, recognition: the level Agnetia returns is an indicative measure and does not replace a certificate from Cambridge, the Instituto Cervantes or the Goethe-Institut. Second, price permanence: the figures on this page are the current ones, not a rate frozen for life. If you reached this text through a saved copy, the good one is always the one on the site.

The monthly fee
What gives you access to Agnetia. It is the first thing you pay and the only thing that renews by itself.
The fee is €14 a month plus VAT. Stripe works out the tax for your country: in Spain it is 21%, which makes the fee €16.94 a month. You see the exact amount on the payment screen before you confirm.
You pay it the first time you open your panel, right after confirming your email: you enter your card on Stripe's payment page and that payment is your first month. There is no free trial. After that it renews automatically on the same day of each month on the same card; if a month has no such day (the 31st in April, for example), you are charged on the last day of that month.
- Lingo Ascent
- A levelled role-playing game: six worlds, one per CEFR level from A1 to C2, with twenty stages each, recorded audio and voice challenges.
- Practice
- A voice agent that asks, listens and corrects you: vocabulary, numbers, verbs, prepositions, articles and pronouns, conditionals and conversation, plus review games in the browser.
- Exam prep
- Exercises in the format of the official exam for your language, from A1 to C2: reading, listening, writing and speaking, marked by AI against the exam's criteria.
The fee includes 3,000 voice practice interactions a month. An interaction is each time you speak to the agent in Practice, even if the turn gets cut off or isn't understood; the agent's greeting, reviews, the level test, Lingo Ascent and Exam prep don't count. The counter goes back to 0 every time you pay the fee. If you reach 3,000, the agent tells you and the talk button is disabled until the next payment; nothing extra is charged.

- Tests you buy do not lapse. If you take none this month, they are still there next month.
- Only used if there is a result
- A test is deducted when it finishes with a level. If it is cut off halfway, nothing is used.
- A payment, not a subscription
- You buy a pack by pressing “Buy”. It does not renew by itself and there is nothing to cancel.

What the level test is like
A spoken test with a voice agent, always in the language you are learning.
You hold a button to speak and release it when you are done. It opens with a simple question and then climbs with you like a staircase: it starts at A1, three good answers at a level take you to the next one, and three misses at a level end the test. It never goes down. That rule is applied by the code, not the model.
It has no fixed length: it ends when you reach your ceiling, somewhere between three and thirty judged answers. During the test the agent does not correct you or tell you how you are doing; your level appears on screen at the end.

You answer out loud to increasingly demanding questions, in the language you are learning.

On whether it shows the level the question was asked at. Pronunciation is not scored.

An indicative overall CEFR level: the last one you passed, or that you have not shown one yet.

VAT and the invoice
How tax applies to each charge.
- The fee is advertised excluding VAT (€14) and Stripe adds your country's rate.
- Packs are also advertised excluding VAT, and Stripe adds your country's rate.
- Stripe asks for your card and your country, which it needs for VAT. No company details or tax ID are requested.
- Every charge has its own invoice, in your name, which you can view and download from your profile.

How to cancel
No commitment, from your profile, in two clicks.
Under “Payments”, in your profile, you press “Cancel subscription” and confirm. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month: you are not charged for the next month and you keep using Agnetia until the last day you have already paid for. Until that day you can undo it with “Resume subscription”.
Bear two things in mind. Without an active fee you cannot get into the panel, so any tests you have left can only be taken while the fee is live. And if instead of cancelling you delete your account, the fee is cancelled on the spot and your unused tests are deleted too.

What the test is not
The most important section on this page, and the one most worth reading in full.
The result of an Agnetia test is not an official certificate, and Agnetia does not present it as one on any screen.
It is an indicative measure: it tells you where you stand, helps you decide which exam to sit and, if you repeat it, shows how far you have come. None of that needs external recognition, which is why the test can cost what it costs.
Certificates are issued by Cambridge, the Instituto Cervantes, the Goethe-Institut and the other examination bodies, with their own security and supervision procedures. Agnetia does not replace them and does not try to.
- No Agnetia screen says or suggests that the level is official.
- Every result is stored with its date and the model that measured it, and is never overwritten: that is traceability, not recognition.
- Agnetia does not yet publish any accuracy figure, and will not give one without saying how many people it was calculated on.

Guarantees and data
What you can demand, and what Agnetia commits to doing with your data.
- Your account is deleted from your own profile, with email confirmation, without waiting for anyone to process it.
- Your voice is not stored: it is sent for transcription and discarded.
- There are no ads and no third-party trackers on the site.
- Payments go through Stripe's page: Agnetia never sees the card number.
- Every measurement records which model made it, so a result today and one a few months from now are comparable.

Is there a free trial?
No. The first payment, €14 plus VAT, is the first month. It is made the first time you open the panel, by card, on Stripe's payment page, and the following fees are charged on the same day of each month.
Is the level test included in the fee?
No, it is paid for separately, in packs: 1 test for €5.00, 3 for €13.50 or 9 for €36.00 plus VAT. The fee covers Lingo Ascent, voice practice and exam prep.
Do the tests I buy expire?
No. What you buy does not expire, and a test is only used up if it finishes with a result: if it gets cut off, nothing is spent.
How do I cancel?
From your profile, under “Payments”, with “Cancel subscription”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month: you are not charged for the next one and you keep access until the last day paid for. You can undo it until then.
Can I change the language I am learning?
No. You choose it when you sign up and it is for good: practice, Lingo Ascent, exam prep and the level test are all in that language. Your native language can be changed from your profile.
Which languages can I take the level test in?
Today, Spanish, English, French, German and Italian, which are also the languages you can learn for now. Portuguese and Turkish are still in development as languages to learn, along with their level test; you can already use them as your native language and to read the website.
Does the result count as a certificate?
No. It is an indicative measure. Certificates are issued by Cambridge, the Instituto Cervantes or the Goethe-Institut, and Agnetia does not replace them.
Is there a usage limit?
Yes: voice practice includes 3,000 interactions a month. Each time you speak to the agent in Practice counts as one, and the counter goes back to 0 every time you pay the fee. If you reach 3,000, you are told and you carry on after the next payment, with no extra charge.
